SHIPPING AND DELIVERY

 Heritage Handmade offers products for sale that are in stock and available for dispatch from our distribution center.


All orders are subject to acceptance and availability, and items in your shopping basket are not reserved and may be purchased by other customers.

Our shipping policies cater to both retail and wholesale customers to ensure that you receive your items as per your requirements.

RETAIL CUSTOMERS

For our valued retail customers, we offer the following shipping options based on the weight of your items:

- Express Shipping (Items < 2kg): We utilize DHL for express shipping of items weighing less than 2 kilograms. We will ship your package within 1 to 3 business days, excluding transit time. This allows us to get your items to you swiftly and reliably.

- Standard Shipping (Items > 2kg): For items weighing more than 2 kilograms, we use EMS (Express Mail Service) for standard shipping. Please note that standard shipping may take slightly longer than express shipping (10-14 business days), so allow for a few extra days for delivery.

- Freight Service (Items > 30kg): In the case of bulk orders or items exceeding 30 kilograms, we employ a freight service to ensure secure and efficient delivery. The specific delivery timeline for freight service may vary, and you will be provided with details upon placing your order.

For our esteemed wholesale customers, we understand that shipping requirements can differ significantly based on the size and scale of your order.  SHIPPING TIME

We offer:
- Express Shipping:
USA: (3-5 business days)
Europe: (2-4 business days)
- Standard Shipping: (10-14 business days)

DELIVERY DUTY

 

Within European Union, all destinations are shipped to on a DDP (Delivery Duty Paid) basis, which means that all relevant import taxes and duties will be included in the final purchase price.

When a DDU (Delivery Duty Unpaid) destination is selected (outside European Union), the product prices displayed are exclusive of all taxes and duties.

So once your order arrives at its destination, you will be required to pay all import duties, customs and local sales taxes levied by the country you are shipping to, in order to release your order from customs.

As we're unable to advise on the amount, we'll send you an email before we dispatch your first DDU order.

Please look out for this email in your inbox so your purchases are dispatched on time.

TRACKING OF ORDERS

 

Once your purchases are on their way to you, we'll send you an email with your shipping number as advised by the courier.

Registered customers can Sign In to their account on heritagehandmad.com and find the information.

For any problem regarding the tracking, Heritagehandmad’s Customer Service info@heritagehandmad.com. will make the best effort to update you on the status of your order in the minor possible time.


INSURANCE

 

All items are insured against theft and accidental damage whilst in transit to the shipping address.

Once your purchases have been delivered to the specified delivery address and signed for, they are no longer covered by insurance.

When the item is delivered, we kindly ask you to check status of the package before signing the confirmation of delivery.


DISPATCH OF ORDERS

 

Orders are dispatched during the next 1-3 working days immediately after the order date, following confirmation of payment and availability of stock.

Orders made during the weekend (from Friday afternoon till Sunday evening) will be dispatched the following Monday morning.


All Heritage Handmade deliveries will be accompanied by an invoice, which states the value of each single article.

For items on sale, the invoice will report discounted amounts. 


If, for any reason, the packaged is not successfully delivered to the address indicated, you will be contacted by our Customer Service.

If also in that case we are not able to identify alternative shipping address, the package will be returned to the warehouse and we will charge you for shipping costs. This amount will be deducted from the refund.
